What is gamification?

Gamification is the use of logic and game techniques in contexts not necessarily related to the theme. The goal is usually to encourage teams, promote the interaction between people and companies and envelop the public in marketing actions. They are challenges that generate engagement using ludic practices as backdrop.

For example: companies offering rewards (prizes) to consumers who publicize to friends in social networks content related to their brands. Or companies that use the concepts of score and stages to encourage competitiveness among sellers.
