What is cloud computing?

Cloud computing is the use of the storage capacity, calculation and memory of computers and servers connected via the Internet.

From an operating system available on the web, any computer located anywhere in the world can access files and programs. This way, the computer, smartphone, or tablet becomes a chip connected to the Internet — the “great cloud” — and you can remotely access data stored on it.

This solution became quite feasible in comparison to the use of physical units and is considered by technology specialists as the “new era of digital frontier”. That is why large companies of the sector, such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft and IBM, not only preach the use of cloud computing as were the first to adopt them.
